ICL / Phakic IOLs
The AcrySof® CACHET™ phakic lens works with your natural lenses to help focus light for sharper distance vision. As part of a vision correction procedure known as phakic surgery, the AcrySof® CACHET™ phakic lens is implanted in the anterior chamber of your eye. Once in place, phakic lenses add the focusing power you need to help correct high myopia. It’s like wearing your glasses or contacts all the time – but without all the hassle!
A significant advantage of this procedure is that the power of the lens implant can be changed if the need arises in the future.
Artisan Lens
For those with significant degrees of astigmatism the PHAKIC ICL of choice is the Artisan Ophtec Iris-Fixated ICL. Hyperopia, astigmatism, and myopia are treated with this lens.
