About Us
Both LaserVision surgeons; Mr Mike Tappin and Mr Rakesh Jayaswal are specialists in corneal surgery, and combine their NHS work as consultant ophthalmologists, specialising in corneal and intraocular lens surgery, with their private practice. They remain involved in the research and development of new techniques and are dedicated, in all areas of their work, to delivering excellence for their patients.
Mike & Rakesh believe that patient safety is paramount and invest in the latest technological advancements to provide personalised treatments, within state of the art clinics.
For people who depend on glasses or contact lenses for good vision, laser vision corrective treatment is a dream come true.
Wide range of vision correction treatments
Using a combination of the latest and safest technology LaserVision correct the widest range of vision imperfections, including mild to severe short sightedness, long sightedness, and astigmatism.
By using their expertise in corneal surgery, LaserVision is also able to offer complex treatments for higher order aberrations due to other conditions such as keratoconus.
Technology
With PerfectPulse technology, all treatments offered include "wavefront" as standard, thus offering you a treatment that is as individual as your eyes.
Whilst laser eye surgery is the best procedure for many people, those with extremes of near and far sightedness may find that Implantable Contact Lenses (ICL) or Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) are better options.
